Accessibility Statement
EverCare Home Care is committed to making sure every family — including those with disabilities and those who use assistive technology — can find, understand, and act on the information on this site.
Effective Date: May 1, 2026 · Last Updated: May 1, 2026
Our Commitment
EverCare Home Care (“EverCare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to making www.evercarehomehealth.net (the “Site”) accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe in equal access to information and care, and we work to ensure our Site is usable by everyone — including older adults, family caregivers, and people who use assistive technology.
This Accessibility Statement explains the standards we follow, the steps we take, the limitations we recognize, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including:
- Visual impairments (low vision, blindness, color blindness)
- Hearing impairments (deafness or hard of hearing)
- Motor and dexterity limitations
- Cognitive and learning differences
- Photosensitivity
EverCare also supports the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, applied in the digital context.
Measures We Take
To make the Site accessible, we work to:
- Use clear, plain-language headings, links, and buttons
- Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
- Use sufficient color contrast between text and background
- Ensure the Site is navigable by keyboard (no mouse required)
- Label form fields so screen readers can interpret them
- Provide captions or transcripts for video content where available
- Avoid auto-playing audio or video
- Allow users to resize text without breaking the layout
- Use semantic HTML so that headings, lists, and tables are correctly identified by assistive technology
- Avoid relying on color alone to convey meaning
Compatibility
The Site is designed to be compatible with current and recent versions of the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers — JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android)
- Browsers — current and recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge
- Operating systems — current and recent versions of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Input devices — keyboard navigation, voice control, and touch
If you use older or specialized assistive technology and encounter problems, please let us know and we will do our best to help.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content on the Site may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA in every area. Known limitations may include:
- Older PDFs or documents that have not yet been remediated
- Embedded third-party content (such as social media widgets, mapping tools, or video players) over which we have limited accessibility control
- User-generated content (such as testimonials submitted as images of text)
We work to address these limitations as part of our ongoing review.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is a continuous process, not a one-time project. We:
- Review the Site for accessibility issues during each redesign and major update
- Train staff who create web content on accessibility basics
- Test new pages and features for accessibility before publishing
- Welcome feedback and treat reported barriers as priorities

If you have difficulty accessing any part of the Site, want to report an accessibility barrier, or need information from the Site provided in an alternative format (large print, audio, plain text email, or by phone), please contact us. We aim to respond within five (5) business days.
